AOS EXPERIENCE

AOS – Sports Leadership Sessions

The Athlete of Significance Sports Leadership sessions are an immersion into engaging and interactive leadership activities which enhance character development and takes the athlete on a journey to understanding their motives, influence, time, awareness and outcomes. By instilling these concepts into our campers, they develop into an athlete that is responsible, focused, collaborative, and persistent ─ the most prominent characteristics needed to be a great leader on and off the field.

Volleyball Individual Skills Sessions

The AOS Individual Skills component will cover all techniques in a progressive manner with rounds of fun tournaments and competitions. Technique demonstrations and quality instruction in individual skills of serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, serve reception & defense.

Volleyball Match Skills Session

The AOS Match Skills component focuses on team systems and team competitions.  Our championship-winning staff will guide you through training sessions and competitions, providing extensive feedback in order to uplevel knowledge and skills. We are confident you will make significant improvement by understanding a deeper meaning to what it means to have a “team environment.”

HEAT STATEMENT FOR ARIZONA SUMMER SPORTS LEADERSHIP CAMPS

Arizona is one of the most beautiful places in the country. The sun shines here nearly every day, and with that comes warmer temperatures. We would like to ease your concerns regarding the “heat issue” for our Sports Leadership Camps. Components of our sports leadership camps will be held outside. However, we will have a full-time trainer on staff at the camps, we have air-conditioned rooms that are available to us at anytime if necessary, and we will have a shade tent outside at the field. Campers will be repeatedly encouraged to apply sunscreen. We will have water breaks every 10 minutes or so, and more frequently if necessary. In addition to the frequent water breaks, we will have a “snack” break about 1.5 hours into the morning session (so that the campers have an opportunity to get something light/healthy in them for energy). Their afternoon sessions which leadership breakout and sports sessions that take place indoors.

AOS Volleyball Camps are open to any and all entrants.
